Thomas Stokell is an entrepreneur from New Zealand. His early career started as a social marketer working to promote cycling.
He set-up ‘Challenge for Change’ in 2007 and ran the organisation in the UK for 6 years. Challenge for Change specialises in designing behaviour change programmes to encourage more people to cycle. He also set up a video production company in the UK – www.90seconds.tv
Thomas has travelled extensively and has spent a fair amount of time in the US, including a semester at the Alabama School for Math and Science in his senior year in 1999 and worked with kids at a summer in the Catskills, NY, in 2000. He also spent 5 weeks at the Gandhi Institute in the Fall of 2013.
Thomas is passionate about education, non-violence, the environment and social enterprise. He is keen to bring his business strategy and marketing skills to assist the Gandhi Institute to achieve its objectives.
