Conversation on Race and Poverty

In conjunction with Phillis Wheatley Community Library, we will be hosting a discussion on race and and poverty for adults 18 and older.

Through whole-group and small-group discussions that are paired with interactive activities, we will explore:

  • awareness of racial identity
  • segregation in our individual lives
  • practicing active listening skills
  • finding ways to be more informed of racial privilege

This event is free and open to the public — food will be provided!
