Picture of Katelyn Militello

Katelyn Militello

Katelyn Militello is on track to graduate from Rush-Henrietta Senior High School in June 2025. Following graduation, she will attend the University of Rochester to pursue a degree in Accounting.

Throughout her academic career, Katelyn has exhibited a strong commitment to business and leadership. She currently serves as President of her school’s DECA chapter and works at the school’s student-run café. Some of her accomplishments include being named a DECA State Champion, receiving the Scholar-Athlete Award for three consecutive years, and being inducted into the Henrietta Youth Hall of Fame—recognitions that reflect her dedication, academic excellence, and leadership in both school and athletics.

A lifelong resident of Rochester, Katelyn is passionate about giving back to the community that has shaped her. She is eager to begin her work with the M.K. Gandhi Institute, where she aims to make meaningful and lasting contributions. Her deep commitment to equity and community restoration drives her involvement and future aspirations.

Outside of her academic and leadership pursuits, Katelyn maintains a well-rounded lifestyle. She plays on multiple softball teams, works at a local bake shop, enjoys reading, and values quality time with family and friends.

We acknowledge the land on which we gather is the treaty territory of the Haudenosaunee Peoples.
