Over the summer of 2021, the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence hired three Rochester-area youth to launch a TikTok account highlighting stories from Nonviolence News.
Our goal with this new social media platform was to share how people everywhere are using nonviolence to fight and expose injustice and to create positive social change.These Tik Toks continue to reach a younger audience and share information that’s “relevant and important to teenagers” in a creative way, according to our interns.
