This summer, the MK Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence hired three Rochester-area youth to create a TikTok account for Nonviolence News. Our goal is to share how people everywhere are using nonviolence to fight and expose injustice and to create positive social change. These Tik Toks reach a younger audience than out current social media pages, and let our interns “pick the story that interests me” and share information that’s “relevant and important to teenagers.”

We are now looking for a college student who is interested in helping our Tik Tok channel flourish during the fall semester of 2021. This volunteer position has flexible hours and creative freedom, and students can work remotely.
