Scott Hesel
Scott Hesel serves as the Communications Director at UR Medicine Golisano Children’s Hospital, where he leads storytelling efforts that highlight the hospital’s commitment to compassionate care and community engagement.
Through his work, Scott amplifies programs that reflect the hospital’s dedication to addressing the social determinants of health that create barriers to care for the most vulnerable children and families in the region. With this background, Scott was drawn to the Gandhi Institute’s mission and is engaged in expanding the organization’s reach throughout the community.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Scott enjoys recording and playing music, in particular trying in vain to start a family band with his three children.
