    “Jagadamba,” A Play About the Life of Kasturba Gandhi

    The play "Jagadamba" is the story of Gandhi‘s wife Kasturba. Kasturba Gandhi had no formal education and yet participated in and led nonviolent struggles in both South Africa and India.  She died in prison during WWII. This play tells the story of the Gandhis' remarkable lives through her eyes.
