Healthy for the Holidays, Vegan Cooking Class

The Class:
Participants will learn the basics of a plant-based diet including:

  • Vegan ideology
  • How to transition to a plant-based diet
  • Equipment and food pantry
  • How to shop for vegan ingredients
  • Simple recipes to get started

The class will be a combination of teacher-led demonstrations and hands-on engagement.

The Cook:
Ms. Zechariah is a 30-year vegan from Atlanta, GA. Her experience includes being a vegan chef, herbalist, vegan food entrepreneur and restaurateur, and social activist for a healthy planet.

Each class is open for 10 participants
